About Our Housing Program

What do we do?

At Vella HavenHomes, we are a compassionate community committed to helping adults live independently with dignity, confidence, and support.

We understand that independence looks different for everyone, and that’s why we create warm, structured spaces where individuals can grow, feel safe, and take the next step in their life journey.

We’re more than a housing provider—we’re mentors, encouragers, and neighbors who care deeply about each resident’s story. Through personalized support, thoughtful amenities, and a faith-rooted commitment to love and community, we strive to make every house feel like home.

Vella HavenHomes was born from a simple belief: that everyone deserves a safe, peaceful space to grow in independence. I started this journey with a heart to serve and to create a home where people feel seen, supported, and never alone. Here, we walk alongside our residents—not ahead or behind—believing in their potential every step of the way.”

Our Mission

To provide safe, supportive, and affordable independent living for adults in transition — empowering them with structure, dignity, and the tools to rebuild their lives.

Our Vision

A world where every individual—regardless of their past or circumstances—has access to a stable home, a second chance, and a path to lasting independence.

Our Values

Compassion – We meet every resident with empathy, understanding, and non-judgment.

  • Stability – We offer consistency and structure in a world that often feels uncertain.

  • Empowerment – We equip our residents with life skills, accountability, and hope.

  • Respect – We honor every individual’s dignity, privacy, and journey.

  • Community – We believe in the power of connection, support, and shared growth.

How we started

Vella HavenHomes was born out of a desire to fill a critical gap in housing—between shelters and permanent living. Our founder recognized a growing need for supportive environments where individuals could safely transition back into society after facing hardship, incarceration, abuse, or housing instability. What began as a passion project to serve vulnerable adults has grown into a structured program rooted in faith, compassion, and a deep commitment to community impact.
